Come play one of the top rated golf courses in the area. We have 18 holes of bentgrass championship caliber golf at the edge of Cedar Rapids/ Marion community. We have a golf course spread out over 400 acres with 50 bunkers and 10 ponds. The front nine winds through the development with generous landing areas and accessible greens. The back nine is narrow with many ponds and wetlands entering the field of play. Because of a few forced carries and risk/reward shots, the back nine is sure to challenge you regardless of your skill level.
The pro shop handles the top brands in golf including: Titleist, Footjoy, Sun Mountain, and many others. The pro shop programs include beginning to advanced golf lessons, a junior golf program, club repair and regripping, as well as a large variety of corporate and group outings. Driving Range and Practice Facility Pass Holders Privileges include:
- May hit Unlimited Practice Balls on Range and Short game practice area.
- Hunter Ridge Driving Range & Practice Facility pass card that must be present at Golf Shop counter when requesting tokens for use.
Rules and Restrictions for Pass Holders:
- Annual Pass holders must present signed pass card when requesting tokens at golf shop counter.
- Individual Annual Range Pass Holders may not share practice balls with other people on the practice range.
- Annual Family Range Pass Holders are for the immediate family only, not for relatives, friends, or guests of those pass holders.
- Any Pass Holder who violates the rules and restrictions are subject to loss of all range privileges for the rest of the season.
Driving Range & Practice Facility Hours of Operation
Sunday – Sunrise to TBD (based on weather & daylight hours)
Monday – 10:00 am to Sunset
Tuesday-Saturday – Sunrise to Sunset
The range will close early each Sunday afternoon so we can pick the range clean and mow on Monday mornings.
The range will reopen after the mowing is completed, about 10:00 am.

Golf cart rental is required before noon (May-August) each Saturday & Sunday.
Groups of five players are prohibited Friday after 11:00 (May-August) and Saturday & Sunday before noon (May-August).
Proper golf attire must be worn at all times while playing Hunters Ridge Golf Course. Collared shirts are required both on the course and driving range.
